We only do one thing with your information: use it to contact you about our services. This policy says what we collect, why we are allowed to, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do about it.
This policy covers the information you give us. It does not cover work we do for our customers — when we handle data on a customer’s behalf, we act under their policies and their instructions.

This website is run by T.E.W. Software Solutions Limited, trading as itelligent-i, registered in England and Wales, company number 04346658. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect
If you use our contact form, we collect your name, your organisation, your email address, your telephone number if you choose to give one, whether we may contact you by email, by phone or both, the subject you choose, and anything you write in the message. We only contact you in the ways you have ticked. Nothing else, and none of it is optional-but-hidden — what you see on the form is what we get.
If you meet us at an event or give us your details directly, we hold the same kinds of information.
We ask you not to include personal details about residents, service users or customers in a message to us. If you do, we will delete them.
What we use it for, and why we are allowed to
We use your information for one purpose: to contact you about our services. That means replying to your enquiry, following up a conversation, and occasionally letting you know about something we do that is relevant to your work.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — ours in offering services to organisations likely to need them, and yours in hearing from a supplier whose work is relevant to your role. We think that balance is reasonable because we only contact people in a professional capacity, about work they actually do, and we stop the moment anyone asks.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and contact details for two years after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will.
Where we are required to keep something longer — a contract or an invoice, for example — we keep only what that requires and only for as long as it requires.
Who else sees it
Only the suppliers who run the systems we use, and only so those systems work. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes.
Microsoft hosts this website, its database and our email, on Microsoft Azure. Google Analytics tells us how the site is used, in aggregate.
We will disclose information if we are legally required to — by a court order, or a lawful request from a law enforcement agency — and not otherwise. If the company were ever sold, responsibility for the data would pass to the buyer.
Where it is held
In the United Kingdom. This website, its database and our email all run in Microsoft Azure’s UK South region.
Google Analytics processes some data outside the UK under the safeguards Google has in place for international transfers.
Your rights
You can ask us to: give you a copy of what we hold about you; correct anything that is wrong; delete it; restrict what we do with it; or object to us using it at all. You can also ask for it in a portable format. We will respond within one month.
Because we rely on legitimate interests rather than consent, you can object at any time and we will stop. You do not have to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right, but you do not have to.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for two things: to make the site work, and to let Google Analytics tell us how it is being used. Analytics cookies collect statistics about pages viewed and how people move through the site. They do not identify you by name.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without the analytics ones.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when what we do changes. The date below says when it last changed.
